Andrew Pomeroy

Principal Engineer | Discipline Manager - Coastal Engineering

Andrew is a professional and research engineer with over 15 years’ coastal oceanographic, physical process and engineering experience. Having worked as a Coastal and Maritime Engineer with GHD, Canada’s Island Coastal Services and the Netherland’s Deltares, he is an expert on coastal ocean processes, novel coastal infrastructure design, coastline risk assessments, resilience planning, sediment assessments and water quality monitoring.                                                  

In 2018, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the United States Geological Survey where he led research on 3D methodologies for measuring and modelling sediment transport. He is a member of the National Committee on Coastal and Ocean Engineering, member of Engineers Australia’s Infrastructure Advisory Panel and the former chair of Engineers Australia’s Coastal, Ocean and Port Engineering Panel, WA.
