Narre Warren Cranbourne Road
FSC was engaged for environmental and sustainability advice on the Narre Warren Cranbourne Road upgrade. This construction project aims to improve access around Cranbourne town centre as well as improving traffic flow and travel times along the major roads. Better access for pedestrians and cyclists will also be constructed along the new duplication. New traffic lights, safety barriers and upgraded intersections form part of the scope of work.
FSC led the environmental management throughout the project including the implementation of environmental and sustainability management plans, developing erosion and sediment control plans, as well as managing dust, water and noise implications due to the sensitive receptors along the alignment. The implementation of these plans as well as the Recycled First Plan will ensure that our client can achieve a high rating through the Infrastructure Sustainability Council and maintain their reputation as sustainability leaders in the construction industry.
Corio Quay
FSC was engaged as environmental advisors at the construction of the new terminal for the Spirit of Tasmania work at Corio Quay.
FSC was responsible for implementing environmental management plans, developing erosion and sediment control plans, cultural heritage procedures, dust and water management and monitoring strategies, groundwater re-use planning and associated approvals working with environmental subcontractors, such as contaminated land consultants, ecologists and local stakeholders including the Registered Aboriginal Party, Corangamite Catchment Management Authority, DELWP and Geelong Council to deliver project outcomes.
