FSC has an ongoing relationship with the Hazelwood Mine Rehabilitation project, which began in 2017 following the closure of the Power Station.

Services Provided

  • Design management for ash pond and landfill caps, including approvals from the EPA and auditors
  • Cost estimation for civil and environmental rehabilitation projects
  • Landfill capping superintendent for four ash pond landfills
  • Project management and supervision of the mine de-watering drilling program, involving installation of over 15 large-diameter bores up to 280m deep, along with associated pipework
