Flinders Pier, a historic timber structure first built in 1860, includes a 325-metre timber approach and is heritage listed.

Following a detailed condition assessment by FSC, Parks Victoria were able to secure funding for the repair and redevelopment of the pier. Our project focused on delivering a detailed design solution for replacing specific sections of the pier. The new structure was designed to meet current Australian Standards while preserving the pier’s traditional character in line with Heritage Victoria requirements.

This involved designing new piles, beams, crossheads, capping beams, and decking to ensure durability and heritage alignment.
